Seward was buzzing with people out and about enjoying the Seward Winter Frolic this past weekend. If you couldn’t make it, you missed out on some great art and events. Saturday had a full day of events planned, including glass blowing demonstrations at Shea Glass, jazz at Bethany Lutheran Church, metal casting at the Bottle Rocket Building, and lots of other fun activities for kids and adults. An art crawl was held on both Saturday and Sunday and was hosted by many Seward businesses.
Art Car Parade
On Saturday, an Art Car Parade drove (and biked) through the neighborhood before ending up at Pizza Luce.
Sparks flew on Saturday night during the Lighting Ceremony at Triangle Park. The People’s Fire Coalition danced with fire while drummers from the Women’s Drum Center kept the beat.
